The Dance Experience Dance Company is a pre-professional youth dance company that represents Dance Experience at respected community events throughout the year. They are our leading performers who are committed to major roles in our ballet rendition of "The Nutcracker" and Spring Production. Our company provides an extension to serious dancers to heighten their training and education, professional exposure, discipline, and community outreach. 
 

The company’s mission is to perform dances in the community to inspire, share aspirations, heighten awareness, bring happiness, and express a deepened aesthetic meaning of “dance” through our dancers' eyes and present it to the public. 

 

Our company is broken into four sectionals of diverse performers: Senior, Apprentice, Intermediate, and Junior. The Seniors are our advanced trained group of dancers, followed by the Apprentices (who are studying to become our future Seniors), then the Intermediates, and our beginning company members are the Juniors. Dancers are placed into their company sectionals based several factors, including: their audition, technique, performance, professionalism, attitude, and maturity.

Members of the company are provided with exclusive company opportunities to build their resumé, confidence, and skills to be professional performer. These experiences include: public performances, technique workshops, summer intensives, auditions, private guest artist workshops, and exclusive information on auditions, competitions and workshops. You can see our company perform annually at Dance St. Louis' National Week, and bi-annually in Disney World participating in "Dance the World," where our dancers lead a parade celebration down Main Street in the Magic Kingdom. ​
