INFORMATION
PRODUCTION
INFORMATION
Production is a 5-10 minute dance piece with a beginning, a middle, and an end based on the popular movie or theme. Our Cast consists of young aspiring dancers, who all work very hard for 4 months to bring this performance and story to life.
Students must audition to be a part of this production.
There is a non-competition option for dancers who decide to participate in the production but not the competition. However, all dance company members are required to do both.
COMPETITION DATE
Still being determined what time & day. However, here is the competition information at this time:
Spotlight Dance Cup
Dates between May 5 - 7

REHEARSALS & PERFORMANCES
Rehearsals & Performances
All Rehearsals & performances are mandatory for all cast members. Any cast member unable to attend rehearsal for a validated reason, must contact Kristin immediately prior to rehearsal. We are also very conscious when scheduling younger dancers, and have arranged the rehearsal schedule to release them as early as possible. Please download a copy of the rehearsal schedule (Click Here) and mark your rehearsal dates to your calendar.
Cancelled Rehearsals
If Wentzville School District Closes due to inclement weather, it is Dance Experience Studio's Policy to also close for the day. If this falls on a rehearsal day; then that rehearsal will be rescheduled for a different day. Stay up to date by watching the website and checking the bulletin board.
Rehearsal Attire
All dancers need to wear a leotard and tights to rehearsal, and have their hair pulled back in a bun. Company members will wear their required attire.
What does "on time" mean?
Rehearsals will begin promptly at their scheduled time(s); DO NOT BE LATE. All the time scheduled for rehearsal will be used to its fullest potential to learn and perfect each part.
All dancers should be ready to go before their rehearsal begins, walking in for your rehearsal at the time it is set to begin holds the rehearsal process back. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to give yourself enough time to put your shoes on and be ready. We appreciate your respect in this matter.

All dancers in production are required to perform in both recital shows. Competition remains optional for non-company members and determined upon auditioning. Company members are required to perform in all shows.
